–we didn’t have yet.

Discussing our hypothetical futures [passionately]

we all got silent for a moment.

“I can’t see any of us being very subdued,” Sarah said.

We broke and began washing the dishes, knitting, bathtime, curled on the couch with a book, folding the laundry, taking out the trash.

She was right.
